Our Blueberry Funded review

Overview

Blueberry Funded is the proprietary trading evaluation brand of the Blueberry Markets group, an Australian forex and CFD broker. The prop arm was announced in 2024 and, according to a review updated in May 2026, is operated by Blueberry Markets (SVG) LLC in St. Vincent and the Grenadines under chief executive Marcus Fetherston. It belongs to a wave of broker-backed prop firms, alongside names such as ThinkMarkets and IC Markets, that bring execution and infrastructure in-house rather than relying on third-party white labels. As with any prop firm, traders pay a fee to trade a simulated account and earn a share of simulated profits if they pass.

The group had an earlier, indirect role in the prop industry: in March 2024 Blueberry Markets, which had supplied MetaTrader access to many third-party prop firms, moved those firms' accounts to close-only after MetaQuotes pressure over US clients, disrupting more than ten firms. Blueberry Funded launched afterwards as the group's own branded offer.

Regulation and safety

Blueberry Funded is not a regulated financial service. While the parent broker is regulated by ASIC in Australia, the prop programme is run through the St. Vincent and the Grenadines entity, and Blueberry Markets' own help centre describes Blueberry Funded as a separate entity whose support it cannot provide. Traders should therefore not assume the ASIC licence covers their challenge or payouts. The firm does not accept residents of the United States or Australia, and also lists Russia, Iran, North Korea and several other countries as restricted.

Reputation and track record

The firm reported paying out $2,334,954 to funded traders in its first year, as covered by Finance Magnates in July 2025; a later affiliate review cites more than $7 million in total. Its public reputation is weaker.

PropFirmMap reports that Trustpilot suspended the profile on 22 August 2026 for a breach of guidelines, clearing a previous rating of 3.2/5, and that its own safety grade was cut from B to D the following day. Rules and payout frequency were also changed in July 2026, and accounts bought after 12 March 2026 fall under an updated list of prohibited strategies.

None of this indicates a halt to payouts, but it is a reason for caution.

Challenge types and rules

Blueberry Funded's programmes (per a May 2026 review; terms have since been adjusted) include:

  • Prime 2-Step ($2.5K–$200K): 8% then 6% targets, 4% daily and 10% maximum loss, and no per-trade risk cap.
  • 2-Step ($5K–$200K): 10% then 5% targets, 5% daily and 10% maximum loss.
  • 1-Step ($5K–$200K): 10% target, 4% daily and 6% maximum loss.
  • Instant Lite ($1.25K–$100K): no evaluation, 2% daily and 4% maximum loss.
  • Instant Elite ($2.5K–$100K): no evaluation, no daily limit and a 10% maximum loss, at a much higher fee.

There is no time limit and no consistency rule, but most plans need three trading days per phase, and a day only counts if it closes with at least 0.5% profit. Many plans also cap risk at 1.5% per trade (2% with an add-on). Leverage is around 1:30 on forex (1:50 on the standard 2-Step), 1:10 on indices and metals and 1:2 on crypto. Separate synthetic-index and stock CFD challenges are also offered.

Fees and pricing

Fees checked on 5 November 2026 start at roughly $21 for a $2.5K Prime 2-Step and $39 for $5K, with $100K two-step accounts around $455–$620 depending on the model. Instant Elite accounts are far dearer, from $100 for $2.5K up to $2,800 for $100K. Discount campaigns are frequent, and we could not find a published fee-refund policy.

Platforms and instruments

Depending on the plan, Blueberry Funded uses MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker or DXtrade, with some sources also listing MT4. Instruments cover forex, indices, metals and crypto, plus more than 1,000 stock CFDs on dedicated challenges and 12 synthetic indices. Expert advisors, news trading and weekend holding are permitted, while copy trading, external signals, latency arbitrage, HFT, tick scalping and hedging across accounts are banned.

Payouts

Funded traders receive 80% of profits, rising to 90% through scaling, which the firm says can reach $2 million. Since July 2026 the standard payout cycle is every 14 days (previously 7-day and on-demand options were offered). A minimum of $100 realised profit and five active trading days per cycle apply on instant accounts. Withdrawals are made via Rise, crypto or broker payout. Challenge fees can be paid by card, crypto and, for some regions, local methods such as UPI and IMPS. Because payout frequency has already changed once this year, check the current cycle in your dashboard before planning withdrawals.

Who it suits

Blueberry Funded suits traders who prefer a firm tied to an established broker, want to run EAs or hold over weekends, or are interested in stock CFDs or synthetic indices. The per-trade risk cap and minimum daily profit requirement make it less suitable for traders who concentrate risk in few trades, and it is unavailable to US and Australian residents.

Verdict

Blueberry Funded brings broker backing, flexible trading permissions and keen pricing. Against that, the operating entity is offshore, the Trustpilot profile was suspended in August 2026, and the rules have shifted several times this year. It is a reasonable mid-tier choice for traders who read the current terms closely on the official Blueberry Funded website, but not a top-tier pick on reputation.
