Our FundedNext review
Overview
FundedNext launched in March 2022 and grew quickly into one of the largest CFD prop firms by trader count. Its website is operated by GrowthNext F.Z.E. in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, with FundedNext Ltd. registered in the Comoros, and the group has teams in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and an operational hub in Cyprus. Its chief executive, Syed Abdullah Jayed, also runs the group's brokerage arm, FNmarkets, which launched in 2025 under a Mwali (Comoros) licence.
Like every prop firm, FundedNext is not a regulated broker in the sense of protecting a trading deposit: you pay a fee to take a simulated evaluation and, if successful, receive a share of simulated profits on a funded account. Prices in this review were checked on 5 November 2026 and the firm adjusts them often.
Challenge models
The CFD side is built around the "Stellar" family:
- Stellar 2-Step ($6K–$200K): 8% then 5% profit targets, 5% daily loss, 10% maximum loss, five minimum trading days per phase.
- Stellar 1-Step ($6K–$200K): 10% target, 3% daily loss and a tighter 6% maximum loss, with at least two trading days.
- Stellar Lite ($5K–$200K): a cheaper two-phase option with 8% and 4% targets, 4% daily and 8% overall loss limits.
- Stellar Instant ($2K–$20K): no evaluation, no daily limit but a 6% trailing drawdown and a lower starting split.
Comparison sites describe the Stellar drawdowns as balance-based and static, and also note a cap of 3% risk at any time on Stellar accounts. Since April 2025 there is also a separate FundedNext Futures brand (Rapid, Flex and direct-funded plans on NinjaTrader and Tradovate) with futures-style rules, including end-of-day trailing drawdowns and no daily limit on some plans.

Costs and value
Entry prices are low by industry standards, with Stellar Lite starting at around $33 and the 2-Step at about $60, although listed prices rose on several plans in late October 2026. A distinctive feature is the challenge-phase reward: on the 2-Step and 1-Step, traders who reach funding receive 15% of the profit they made during the evaluation together with a refund of the fee at the first payout. Optional paid add-ons can remove minimum trading days, raise the split, enable bi-weekly payouts or switch to a swap-free account, so the final price depends on what you tick at checkout.
Profit split and payouts
Base splits are 80% on two-phase models and 90% on the 1-Step, rising to 90% through scaling and up to 95% with add-ons. The first withdrawal is available after 21 days on the 2-Step and five business days on the 1-Step, then every 14 days. FundedNext advertises a 24-hour payout guarantee, promising an extra $1,000 if it misses that window.
Withdrawals go out mainly via crypto (USDT/USDC) and Rise; reviewers note gateway fees are borne by the trader. The company says it has paid out well over $195 million across its CFD prop programmes, a self-reported figure. Scaling adds 40% to the balance each time the criteria are met, up to a stated $4 million.
Platforms, instruments and trading rules
Depending on region and account, traders can use MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or Match-Trader for CFDs, plus NinjaTrader and Tradovate for futures. The CFD list is relatively short at roughly 70 symbols: forex pairs, commodities, indices and a handful of cryptocurrencies, with no single stocks. Leverage reaches 1:100 on FX in the evaluation, while crypto is held to 1:1.
News trading and weekend holding are permitted, but profits from trades opened or closed within five minutes of high-impact news on funded accounts are only partly counted. Expert advisors have conditional rules: the help centre states that EAs are allowed on 1-Step accounts below $50,000 but larger accounts must be traded manually, and high-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, grid systems and cross-account hedging are banned. Read the current terms for your exact model.
Reputation and notable events
FundedNext has one of the largest Trustpilot profiles in the sector, with comparison sites citing a rating around 4.5 from tens of thousands of reviews. Complaints tend to centre on rule-based account breaches and occasional payout delays rather than unpaid rewards. The firm was affected by the 2024 MetaQuotes action against prop firms serving US clients: Finance Magnates reported that it withdrew CFD prop services from US traders after February 2024, returned through FundedNext Futures in April 2025 and relaunched US CFD challenges on Match-Trader rather than MetaTrader in late 2025.
Who it suits
FundedNext suits cost-conscious traders who want a broad menu of models and like the idea of being paid something for the evaluation phase itself. The 1-Step's 6% maximum loss is tight, so it rewards careful position sizing, whereas the 2-Step's 10% limit leaves more room for swing traders. Traders who need stock CFDs or a wide product list may find the symbol range limiting.
Verdict
FundedNext combines low entry prices, a challenge-phase profit share, a fee refund and a quick payout promise, backed by a large and mostly positive review base. The downsides are frequent rule and price changes, a short instrument list, conditional automation rules and an offshore corporate structure.
